Greetings to the Enlightened One, bringing peace to all listeners.
We respectfully invite you to pay attention to the Holy Name of the Buddha Shakyamuni in the moment of his Enlightenment 2,589 years ago:
(Bell) - With a single mind, bow to the Bodhi tree, subdue the Demon King, attain perfect enlightenment, the Buddha Shakyamuni.

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
In the history of the Buddha's descent to earth, the most important thing is enlightenment.
Enlightenment means realizing the Supreme Bodhi path (Sanskrit: Anuttara-samyak-sambodhi). Without enlightenment, the world will forever be in darkness, living beings will still be immersed in the six paths of samsara, never having a method to be liberated!
But what does enlightenment mean?
Talking about the two words Attainment of the Buddha has up to 500 meanings, within the scope of today’s few pages it cannot be presented all. Attaining Enlightenment is synonymous with Becoming a Buddha.
The Sanskrit word for Becoming a Buddha is BUDDHO BHAVATI, and its synonyms: Attaining Enlightenment, Becoming Rightly Enlightened, Becoming Bodhi, Realizing Bodhi, Presently Enlightened, Attaining Buddhahood, Attaining the Supreme Way... Correctly and universally enlightened, with ten complete titles, afflictions and ignorance completely destroyed, completely destroyed, eternally clear, past, present, future, and future pervading the Dharma realm, countless and boundless, many and many! The general meaning is: “The Bodhisattva's virtues are complete, his self-benefit has been completed, his altruistic virtues are perfect, and he has reached the ultimate and ultimate realm of unsurpassed Bodhi.”...
On the other hand, Enlightenment means that the Buddha has gone all the way, has reached the end of the path that the Bodhisattva had to go, has entered the end of the small and the end of the big and the end of the big, that is, has achieved the covering of the great path, the ocean of all rivers, the space of the Universe, is the inclusion of the universe of non-possession and the transformation into all and outside of all and is also called the One-Way Wisdom...
2589 years ago, at Tuyet Mountain under the Bodhi tree, in the Himalayas, at the time of 590 BC. Hong-Bang-ky (ie VN Quoc-Lich) year 2290. Lunar calendar Tan-Mui year, in China, during the reign of King Dinh-Vuong of the The 17th year of the Continent.
*-Bodhisattva, Tathagata, was exactly 35 years old. On the 20th day of the 10th lunar month, he ascended the soft grass throne under the Bodhi tree (the incarnation of the god Indra offered this soft grass throne) and Bodhisattva made a great vow: “I sit on the Bodhi throne, if I cannot attain the supreme fruit of the path, then even if my body is destroyed, I will never stand up and leave this Bodhi throne”! (The Adornment Sutra: ...The Bodhisattva faced the east, on a pure grass, sat cross-legged, straightened his body in mindfulness, and made a great vow: If I now do not attain unsurpassed Bodhi, I may not rise from this seat until the end of my life.”) And, he continued to sit in meditation for 49 days later, at the beginning of the night of December 7, Tan-mui year, going through the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th watches. He attained each higher stage of enlightenment, until the 5th watch, the Morning Star was just shining, the Hour of the Ox, the 8th day of the 12th month, the Bodhisattva “Suddenly Enlightened” and Attained the Unsurpassed Bodhi Fruit..
A brief review of the sutras: -The Original Conduct. -Cause and Effect. -Adornment and Universal Light Sutra.
After attaining enlightenment, according to the Original Conduct Sutra, his Buddha name was Shakyamuni. Because the Buddha Dinh-Quang of the past had Such a prophecy. And today it is true.
- In terms of time and practice, it can be said that the Buddha's Enlightenment that day was a result of countless lifetimes of the Buddha constantly practicing Bodhisattva's conduct. "Because of compassion for living beings. Even because of compassion for the hunger and suffering of the Hungry Ghosts, he vowed to become a Hungry Ghost to stay forever in hell and replace Hungry Ghosts for Hungry Ghosts! Because of compassion for living beings throughout the world, he gave his physical body to many animals, for animals! He offered his property, country, wife and children without regret, to humans for humans...! In the cycle of reincarnation in the 6 realms, he still practiced the six paramitas, etc., etc., with living beings! Only because of the single-minded desire to save suffering and liberate sentient beings.
- In terms of transforming sentient beings: The attainment of Enlightenment is not only for the Buddha himself but also for sentient beings. After attaining enlightenment, the Buddha brought the “true enlightenment” that he had attained and, for 45 years, the Buddha taught countless Dharma doors (methods) to guide not only humans but also many other sentient beings to attain enlightenment and liberation like the Buddha. Because, the human value of human beings is the value of Buddha.
-In terms of bringing people to liberation, the Buddha has explained in the sutras:
*/-A-Ham Sutra: With low foundation, to let people know about the practice of the seven generations of Buddhas in the past, the practice methods and basic teachings, the Four Noble Truths, the 37 practices to attain sainthood and Arhatship...
*/-Forty-Two-Chapter Sutra: Talks about suffering, impermanence, non-self and how to expand compassion, charity...
*/-The Great Flower Adornment Sutra: The Buddha teaches the dependent origination of all dharmas, about the nature of the dharma realm and the transcendental secret power of Vairocana Buddha.
*/-The Mahaparinirvana Sutra: The Buddha teaches about the cessation of desire, afflictions,... to enter a state of peace.
*/-The An Bang Thu Y Sutra: The Buddha teaches practice Zen method, Mindfulness of breathing....
to purify and eliminate distracting thoughts, to enter mindfulness.
*/-Amitabha Sutra, Infinite Life Sutra and Contemplation Sutra: To bring people to the world of Ultimate Bliss, eternally without suffering, afflictions, and no more reincarnation. To live in the teachings of Amitabha Buddha and the support of The Amitabha Buddha and Mahasthamaprapta.
*/-Shūraṇa Sutra: Buddha shows people how to find their own unborn and undying True Mind. Ananda represents people to break the deluded mind through 7 times of misunderstanding the True Mind. The sutra is called the Seven Places of Mind.
*/-Lotus Sutra: Buddha takes living beings out of the burning house of the "Three Realms" through 28 teachings, to practice, and the most important is the "Four Practices" which is the practice method. Cultivation is the way of practice, considered as a formula, doing it correctly in order according to the formula will of course have results. The sublime of the Lotus Sutra is that there is only one Buddha vehicle. It leads people to reach Buddha vehicle.
*/-Esoteric Buddhism: Buddha also revealed a secret method for those with a silent but profound foundation according to the "Aᮬ Dhāra" method to enter the realm of Vairocana. To escape from reincarnation.
*/-The Maitreya Descent Sutra: Buddha guides people to the Tuṣita Heaven, under the teachings of Maitreya Buddha and to quickly attain enlightenment in the three Long-Hoa Dharma assemblies 16 million years later. There are many and there are still many for the path of liberation that the Holy Assembly has attained, which have been recorded in the three collections of scriptures. Buddhists should only believe in the practices in the Tripitaka and rely on the virtuous monks to teach them directly, but should not believe in the legends, the oral praises, this meditation is good, that meditation is good, and the articles that are self-glorifying, only interpreting the flowery colors, but in reality, they still have ego, still have the ambition for money, building assets for themselves, for their own disciples! Then there is definitely no true teaching there! To bring back the truth.
In short, all the methods that bring sentient beings to Enlightenment are the results of the Attainment of Enlightenment by Buddha Shakyamuni, and the "Application of Attainment of Enlightenment" like a few of the thousands of sutras that we have just introduced, are the mysterious light crystallized from countless lifetimes of practice of Buddha, aiming to open the path for sentient beings to clearly go up to Liberation, transcend the three realms of samsara and attain enlightenment like Buddha. What should be said is, do people practice according to the Buddha's teachings of Enlightenment? The rice is cooked, please come to the table to enjoy, if we are still hesitant, the value of "Satiation" will not come to us. The true value of "Liberation" will forever be gentle and we do not know when we will grasp it? A thousand years later? A million years later? Or countless and countless!
The broadcasting time is limited, on behalf of the Sangha, we respectfully wish all listeners peace in commemorating the Buddha's Enlightenment and the value of Buddha knowledge to grow in you.
